How can I fix my Thomas ultra airpac t-2150?

My thomas air compressor is on the fritz. I have an Ultra AirPac T-2150BT-59. It’s a 2.5 HP 115v, 170A compressor. Every time I plug it in, the lights dim, and the compressor makes a noise that is clearly not it’s traditional one. The compressor is producing little to no psi driving a 2 1/2 inch nail only about 1 inch into a 2×4. I took the air filters out and cleaned them, and also tried to run the compressor without them. No luck. I also tried to divert power from inside my house, and that didn’t work either. What can I do?

Go to their web site at Thomas t-2150. They have a rebuild kit.
