Portable Generator Set
What Power Conditioner to use with my DJ Rig?
I’m running just shy of 7000watts over 2 amps, in my new live music rig I’m setting up. However this is the first portable rig that I’m building and want to add a power conditioner to the rack-mount amps, so I can run them at different venues or even outdoors off a generator, without worrying about spikes and such. Just wanted to get some feedback as to what I should be looking for etc. I shop mostly out of MusiciansFriend.com, but their conditioners listed are not very specific as to ratings and such. I’m just looking for a AFFORDABLE Conditioner that will work for what I need it for. Thanks for all the help and ideas.
I’d recommend Trip Lite. They have great equipment. We used to use it exclusively for our mountain top radio sites when I was in 2-way. The link below leads you to the Tripp Lite site. Their rack mount units would fit right into your needs.
